Arab American Foundation for Multicultural Education and Students' Understanding (ARAMFO) was founded to build a stronger bridge of understanding between the Arab world and the United States of America. The ARAMFO mission is to improve relations between the Arab world and the U.S citizens and enhance understanding of Arabs in the U.S. The major aim of ARAMFO is to help people to increase the participants' understanding and tolerance of other cultures, as well as improving their language skills and broadening their social horizons.

While the Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau of the U.S. Department of State, along with the US exchange community, recognize the importance of youth exchange as a key component of renewed commitment to building bridges between citizens of the U.S. and countries around the world, particularly the Arab world, we believe that the role that ARAMFO should play in this field should be more than focusing on the youth exchange programs but to extend it far beyond that by founding and running a comprehensive program of international studies that could include but is not limited to; youth exchange program, study abroad, travel study courses, and supporting international students in their universities.
Our service is to accommodate students outside their countries whether American citizens or Arab students in the U.S while they study abroad. ·Our service helps them to overcome the cultural barriers that very often stand between students and achieving their anticipated academic progress.

Also, one of the other areas that ARAMFO covers is the collaboration between universities in the field of research projects. ·We work with different universities and agencies in the Arab world in different areas of research projects such as domestic violence, child abuse, wife beating, and other issues in a global way to eliminate these problems and to create a comprehensive global library for researchers who want to study these issues intensively.
