The trip influenced me so much I am now pursuing my Masters at the American University in Cairo and I get to experience the city every day.   It helps to know that I’ve been here once before and things aren’t as surprising as they might have been if I had moved here sight-unseen.  If I may impart some small tips:  1. Be open- things happen and things change, but enjoy the ride.  2.  Bring bug spray and Benadryl.  3.  Overall, it was an amazing trip that I would take again in a heartbeat.
