This all-inclusive experience covers international flights, school visits, private transport, and stays at the Comwell Copenhagen Portside Dolce by Wyndham, ensuring a comfortable and enriching trip. DETAILED ITINERARY
Initial Itinerary, subject to change
Day 1, Sunday, June 2nd, Depart and Welcome to Copenhagen, Denmark
- 2:00pm Meet a tour conductor in Copenhagen Airport arrival hall, a private transport to the hotel
- 4:30pm Brief introduction to Denmark and Copenhagen while a short optional walk
- 6:00pm Welcome Dinner.
Day 2, Monday, June 3rd, Danish learning culture in practice
- 8:00am Departure to a public primary school
- 12:00pm Lunch
- 1:00pm Meeting with a policy maker for children and youth education
- 4:00pm Back to the hotel
Day 3, Tuesday, June 4th, Unique Danish boarding school
- 8:00am Departure to an Efterskole
- 12:00am School provided lunch with students
- 1:00pm Departure to a High school (Gimnasium)
- 5:00pm Back to the hotel
Day 4, Wednesday, June 5th, Introduction of the Danish education system and the culture
※National Holiday in Denmark
- 9:00am Educational lectures by a Danish teacher & a Social educator (pædagog).
- 12:00am Lunch
- 2:00pm Nyhavn boat tour and Magazine department store
- 5:00pm Back to the hotel
Day 5, Thursday, June 6th, Experience Danish folke high school tradition and Grundtvig’s ideas
- 7:00am Departure to a Folkehøjskole
- 12:00am Lunch meeting with teachers and students
- 1:00pm Work together with students and teachers
- 4:00pm Back to the hotel
- Day 6, Friday, June 7th, Danish teacher training
- 9:00am Departure to a University college (teacher training course)
- 12:00am Lunch meeting with students and teachers.
- 3:00pm Christiansborg Palace and the tower
- 5:00pm A farewell dinner and reflective chats
- 8:00pm Back to the hotel.
Day 7, Saturday, June 8th, Check out of the hotel and head to the Copenhagen Airport
- 2:00pm A private transport to the airport

The cost covers:
- Round International flights from JFK OR LAX to Copenhagen
- All the visits to schools in Denmark
- Private transportation in Denmark

The cost of the trip is $4450.
Payment Schedule (alternate schedule may be negotiated by request of the participant)
- $1500 by March 15, 2024
- $1550 by April 1, 2024
- $1450 by May 1, 2024
- Note: If an upgrade to single occupancy is requested and available:
$500 by April 15, 2024, for single occupancy
The cost doesn’t cover:
- Travel health insurance
- Any activities not mentioned in the program
- Tips
Cancellation Policy:
- All cancellations must be received in writing. The following cancellation schedule applies:
- 1- 25% of the paid amount refunded 50 days before departure.
- 2- No refund within 51 days of the departure date.
*There may exist minor changes in the program timetables and venues due to the possible restrictions.
